An Introduction to Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) provides an overview of Pennsylvania’s program and school-wide PBIS project. The overview video describes the Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support Network (PAPBS) as an organizational entity in addition to featuring the core elements associated with the effective implementation of PBIS: data, systems, practices and student outcomes. The video highlights footage from schools within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that are implementing PBIS with fidelity through assistance provided by the PAPBS Network.

Parents play a major role in the education of their children. This is particularly true with a child who has a disability. Navigating the world of special education can be challenging. One resource to assist parents with their children’s education is the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network, PaTTAN. This short session - the first in a series - gives parents an overview of the PaTTAN system and how it can provide clarification, opportunities for learning, and other resources to help them on their journey.
