This session will provide an overview of Pennsylvania´s Standards Aligned System (SAS) that provides the backbone for instructional content in Pennsylvania´s schools. Participants will learn how educational teams can use instructional planning tools to increase grade-level content instruction for students who have complex support needs.

Using RtII for SLD Determination in PA

This annotated webinar presentation provides information on the process available for schools to apply to use the RtII process for identification of students possessing Specific Learning Disabilities. The application and application process are reviewed. Representatives from BSE, PaTTAN, an intermediate unit, an approved school district and various parent organizations provide perspectives on the process.
