Individual school teams (K-12) may seek approval to use RtI for SLD Determination specific to the areas of READING, WRITING and/or MATHEMATICS at this time. The application process requires that schools provide sufficient evidence of fidelity of RtI implementation both within and across 8 key indicators. Descriptions and criteria are provided for each indicator, as well as the required documentation needed for obtaining RtI/SLD Approval.

School districts whose approval period is coming to an end and who wish to re-apply should use this application.

Two resources were shared by Rebecca S Moore at her recent workshop - Collaborating with the IEP Team: The Role of the Educational Interpreter. One resource is the list of guiding questions to assist the educational interpreter and the other is a draft summary report.

Pennsylvania law requires educational interpreters to acquire twenty hours of professional development related to interpreting each year. This document is meant to assist interpreters with that documentation.
