This session focuses on supporting special education students within the general education classroom through the use of Tier 3 interventions grounded in a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). Participants will examine how to design and implement individualized, function-based interventions that address students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Emphasis will be placed on collaboration between general and special education staff, using data to guide decision-making, and integrating supports that promote meaningful access, engagement, and progress within the general education setting. The session will also highlight strategies for monitoring effectiveness and making adjustments to ensure student success.
