The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education, invites educators, administrators, specialists, researchers, higher education faculty, school teams, and partner organizations to submit proposals for the 2027 PDE Conference Poster Session.
The poster session will showcase research, program evaluations, implementation studies, and evidence-based practices that demonstrate meaningful outcomes for Pennsylvania's learners. Poster presentations should highlight effective practices, innovative approaches, systems improvement efforts, and lessons learned through data, evidence, and measurable results.
Topic Areas
We encourage proposals that demonstrate impact at the student, classroom, building, district, and/or systems level in areas including:
- Assistive Technology
- Autism
- Learning Environment and Engagement (MTSS Behavior)
- Low Incidence Disabilities
- Integrated MTSS, MTSS Reading, MTSS Math, and MTSS Writing
- Special Education Leadership
- Success for PA Early Learners (SPEL)
- Secondary Transition
- Youth Engagement
- Unified Sports
- Family Engagement
- Inclusive Practices
- Accelerated Program for PK-12 Special Education Teacher Certification

- Poster Session: Thursday, February 25, 2027, 4:00-5:30 PM
- Conference Dates: February 24-26, 2027, at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center
- Proposal Submission Deadline: Monday, November 23, 2026
Please note: Accepted poster presenters traveling more than 50 miles from the Hershey Lodge will be eligible for one complimentary night of lodging. Electrical access will not be available for poster displays.
