The Perkins SMART Brailler®, from the maker of the Perkins Brailler®, provides audio and visual feedback coupled with hard-copy output so that everyone can learn braille together – students, teachers, parents, adults losing their vision. The product enables a student to learn braille independently, even when a trained teacher of braille is not in the room. The audio and on-screen feedback are available in English, German and a range of other languages via Acapela text-to-speech software.
