Logan Proxtalker

The Logan ProxTalker is a picture-based direct selection speech generating device and communication board. The device allows the user to place up to five symbolic picture tags in a desired order on Velcro squares located above a small speaker. When the user presses the picture tag, the device speaks the word or phrase that corresponds to the picture. The user can keep a collection of Velcro-covered pages with a collection of symbolic pictures in a loose-leaf binder, which is located above the Velcro squares. The Logan ProxTalker comes with four Velcro pages, 80 symbol tags, and 20 blank tags to which a picture and a digital audio tag can be added. It also includes a set of programming tags and maintenance tools. The picture symbol tags use the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). The device has adjustable volume controls and a built-in microphone for adding words.
