4-Year College

Do you have students that want to attend a post secondary school and are interested in computers.  Help them look at what it takes to earn a degree in Computer Science.  A degree in Computer Science will typically take 4 years to complete. According to USA News and World Report, students will gain experience with the theory and practice of computer science as they explore algorithms, programming languages and operating systems, for example. In classes, majors may apply their learning to topics like computational finance, robotics and network security. Undergraduates may also be able to access research opportunities. Look at the top Colleges and Universities in Pennsylvania that offer a degree in Computer Science.

If your student is a strong thinker, enjoys problem solving, and working with computers to build websites, mine data, or more then this just might be the career for them.
 

Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Grants

Are your students trying to figure out a way to pay for school?  There are many financial aid options for Computer Science majors that include scholarships, grants, internships, and loans.  If you are looking for additional information and how to even get started direct your parents and students to check out the Federal Student Aid website to begin filling out the FAFSA. Virtual Tours 

Students are involved in so many activities in and outside of school. Visiting a college or university can take time, money, and can be difficult depending on geographical location. Before students make the commitment to visit a college or university they may be interested in, take them on a virtual tour.  Take a more in depth look at the college or university with Campustours.com. Help students experience a walk on campus, view a map, have a VR experience, and explore more about the colleges and universities they may be interested in.
