Participants will gain hands-on experience, learn best practices, and explore innovative strategies to create accessible and engaging learning environments.
Objectives
Participants will:
- Identify specific accessibility features in Quorum and explain how they can be used to create accessible programming experiences.
- Design accessible programming projects using Quorum, considering factors like visual clarity, auditory cues, and alternative input methods.
- Explain differentiated instruction techniques to meet the needs of all learners in programming.
- List advanced programming concepts, such as data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming, in the context of accessibility.
- Describe a personalized action plan for integrating Quorum and accessible principles into future teaching practices.
