This online course provides evidence-based practices/strategies needed to support transition-aged students building work-related skills in community- based settings in relation to: executive functioning skills, task analysis and behavior management.
Objectives
At the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify target skills and appropriate interventions to promote skill development in employment settings
- Document, review and analyze student performance to drive data based decision-making work-based strengths and needs.
- Apply strategies and interventions as demonstrated through case studies/training scenarios to promote positive work-related skills.
Target Audience
Paraprofessionals, other support staff, teachers, transition coordinators, special education directors, or anyone interested in this topic.
