This course is designed to prepare participants to become confident facilitators of Restorative Practices within their schools and organizations. By the end of this intensive training, you will be equipped not only to deliver the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) curriculum but also to support colleagues and teams in implementing Restorative Practices with fidelity and purpose. This course emphasizes both content mastery and facilitation skills, ensuring participants are ready to train others and lead sustainable Restorative Practices within their professional communities.
Objectives
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Identify at least three key concepts from the IIRP curriculum and describe how each can be applied within their school or organization.
- Design and deliver at least one 10–15 minute training segment to peers and receive structured feedback from facilitators and colleagues.
- Demonstrate how IIRP restorative practices align with at least one other school-based initiative (e.g., PBIS, SEL, MTSS).
