This forum will provide a comprehensive look at implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) across diverse settings—from classrooms to state systems. We will focus on building inclusive school cultures through effective practices, leadership alignment, and staff engagement. Sessions will cover tiered, function-based interventions, overcoming high school staff buy-in challenges, fostering belonging in virtual settings, and using models like school-wide house systems to boost engagement. Additional topics include hands-on math instruction for struggling learners and data-driven strategies to improve behavior, attendance, and achievement. The Forum will deepen the focus on PBIS and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), with strategies for aligning leadership, instruction, and staff efforts around school values. Participants will explore inclusive practices, both in-person and virtual, and sustain improvements through evidence-based methods. Trauma-informed supports will be highlighted within the MTSS framework, offering brain-based strategies for addressing challenging behaviors, promoting self-regulation, and building resilience. Sessions will also cover coaching for implementation fidelity, integration of academic and behavioral supports, and mindfulness practices to support student well-being. Schools and programs demonstrating high fidelity in implementing PBIS will be recognized throughout the event.
