This session introduces Service Coordinators to the updated PA Service Coordination Guide as a practical, everyday tool to support their work with children and families. Participants will explore how the guide is organized, how to navigate it efficiently, and how it connects to key resources such as EITA tools and professional development supports. The training will also highlight how the Knowledge and Skills for Service Coordinators (KSSCs) are embedded throughout the guide and inform best practices. By the end of the session, participants will feel more confident using the guide as a go-to resource for decision-making, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
- Describe how the guide is organized and how to navigate sections to locate relevant information efficiently.
- Identify how to use guide, appendix, and connected tools (e.g., EITA resources) to support daily responsibilities, decision-making, and work with families.
- Recognize how the guide aligns with KSSC domains and demonstrates how those knowledge and skills are applied in everyday Service Coordination practice.
