This session will share the lessons learned by a family working to see their vision for inclusion realized for their son. Critical to the ultimate vision of inclusion was the use of data, supports, evaluation, and planning. Participants will be able to:
- Define Least Restrictive Environment.
- Identify ways to be proactive when transitioning early intervention to school age students with disabilities into their neighborhood school.
- Discuss how assumptions of a disability can influence a student’s placement.
