This session will share the lessons learned by a family working to see their vision for inclusion realized for their son. Critical to the ultimate vision of inclusion was the use of data, supports, evaluation, and planning. • Identify ways to be proactive when transitioning early intervention to school age students with disabilities into their neighborhood school.
  • Discuss how assumptions of a disability can influence a student’s placement.
