This course will present information and research about evidence-based reading instruction, and describe and model how to use instructional routines to enhance the delivery of core reading instruction in a multi-tiered system of Tier 1 and Tier 2 support. This training series is aligned to the following core reading series: Houghton Mifflin Harcourt – Journeys Common 2017, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt – Journeys Common Core 2014,     Houghton Mifflin Harcourt – Journeys 2011, Scott Foresman – Reading Street Common Core 2013, Scott Foresman – Reading Street 2011, Pearson – ReadyGEN 2014, McGraw-Hill – Wonders 2014 and Wonders 2017

Target Audience

School Teams to include: Building Administrator, General Education Teachers (minimum of 1 interested grade level), Literacy Specialist/Coach and/or Literacy Interventionist (i.e., Title 1, or Tier 2 intervention teachers), MTSS Coordinator/School Improvement Specialist, IU TaC
