Feature Match: Audio Supported Reading with Kelly Fonner

Feature Match: Audio Supported Reading with Kelly Fonner

09/25/2020
A popular technology for students who struggle with reading is to have it “read” aloud. However, trying to make decisions about which of the Audio Supported Reading (ASR) systems are best for an individual with a print disability can be difficult. During this webinar, we will look at features of ASR tools through the Feature Match process and review examples of these systems including speech settings, writing tools, study supports, and scanning of print materials. It is important to note that this session is not about which application is better; it is about how each product accomplishes its features to present to the student and support their reading for content understanding.
