In alignment with Pennsylvania’s dedication to Attracting, Preparing, and Retaining practitioners in education, specifically in special education, this publication was developed for those interested in learning more or pursuing a career as an Educational Interpreter. An educational interpreter uses sign language and spoken language to provide communication access for a student who is deaf or hard of hearing, in their educational setting.
