This session reviews the Embedded Instruction for Early Learning Implementation Check process and helps participants to see the relationship between that and Embedded Instruction Essential Practice 2. Participants will work with groups and the facilitators to practice and get feedback on identifying learning targets and embedding opportunities for learning target skills during natural or logical activities in which the target skill is a good fit. The activities will focus on conducting Activity-Based Observations and developing an Activity Matrix. Resources will be shared to assist in the collaboration with Early Childhood partners.
