During this professional development event, attendees will:

• Learn how the PLUSS Framework and SLA principles integrate within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), enhancing their coaching skills to support K-12 classroom instruction effectively.
• Master SLA principles and teaching strategies to improve students’ fluency, academic language use, and comprehension, with an emphasis on oral language analysis and cross-linguistic transfer, thereby supporting English Learners within the RTI Framework.
• Examine and collaborate on embedding evidence-based, culturally, and linguistically aligned practices across current systems, ensuring that instructional practices are both effective and inclusive.

Target Audience

School Administrators,PaTTAN Educational Consultants, IU Tac & IU Consultants, Educational Consultants, Instructional Coaches, Curriculum Coordinators and other key educational leaders in the coaching and consulting capacity.
