A full review of the AEDY Referrals system in Leader Services/IMS!

This training will use fictitious student referrals to walk through every step of the process, including creating the referral, the student's time in the AEDY program, and the transition back to LEA. We will also discuss common questions like "What do I do if the student never actually attended?" and "The student moved to another district, what do I need to do in Leader?"

Objectives

Participants will be able to:

• Identify when student behaviors meet the threshold for an AEDY referral.
• Complete an AEDY student referral, from start to finish.
• Determine what documentation should be uploaded to IMS and what should be communicated using an alternate method.
• Identify when to deactivate, transfer, and pause a student referral.

Target Audience

Sending LEA Administrators, AEDY Program Administrators, LEA and Program staff responsible for maintaining AEDY Student Referrals Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate individuals who have special needs as addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act and who need assistance at this event.
