This mini series is designed to assist secondary ELA practitioners with enhancement of core reading instruction (Tier 1) for all students, including students with disabilities. Teams of secondary grade level ELA teachers will implement a high-leverage core reading strategy with fidelity. Teams will have the opportunity to debrief with other secondary teams regarding outcomes on student reading outcomes.

Target Audience

Secondary Grade Level Core ELA teams of up to seven members including Grade Level ELA General, Special Education, and ELD Teachers.

Topics Covered: Response to Intervention (RTI)

Teams who attend both sessions (November 15, 2022 & January 11, 2023), will receive a digital badge that acknowledges team implementation efforts. Teams will be asked to prepare and share a brief presentation (30 minutes) on 1/11/23. PaTTAN will provide participating teams with a presentation template.
