This presentation will assist practitioners with maintaining progress monitoring as instructional models continue to evolve in the weeks and months to come. The session will offer considerations and strategies for using digital tools to collect and analyze data with practical applications for scenarios such as monitoring students who are transitioning to 100% in-person instruction, monitoring students who remain 100% virtual while others return to the classroom, and monitoring students in a hybrid learning model.
Objectives
Participants will:
- Identify policies and procedures for supporting students with disabilities in virtual environments, set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Bureau of Special Education.
- Access and describe the educational resources provided by PaTTAN for use in the support of students with disabilities in virtual environments.
- Describe evidence-based strategies and practices for use in the support of students with disabilities in virtual environments.
Target Audience
General and Special Education Teachers, School Psychologist, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Behavior Specialists, Special Education Administrators, Principals, other administrators.
