The number of apps available for iOS and Android devices continues to grow every year! This session will cover the latest and greatest apps and updates on both platforms. We will highlight some new apps, including speech-to-text apps and websites, talk about wearables, and discuss upcoming features such as automatic video captioning as well as integration with personal amplification and implantable devices. Be sure to bring your device!
Participants will be able to:
- Describe 4 features of "apps" that can be used with students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- List 2 speech-to-text apps that can be used with virtual learning.
- List 2 virtual platforms that are considered "Deaf/Hard of Hearing-friendly".
