This presentation will overview the components of comprehensive school mental health at the universal level. Presenters will connect the key components of mental health promotion with Pennsylvania school safety legislation (i.e., Act 44, Act 18) and highlight national and state resources, including the National Center for School Mental Health’s SHAPE System.
Target Audience
PAPBS network facilitators, School and program-wide PBIS coaches, District and school level leadership teams, Regular and Special Educators, including EL and early childhood educators, Behavioral specialists (school counselors, school psychologists), Behavioral and mental health providers, District and state policy makers, Family members and caregivers, SBBH Community of Practice members
