In alignment with Pennsylvania’s dedication to Attracting, Preparing, and Retaining practitioners in education, specifically in special education, this publication was developed for those interested in learning more or pursuing a career as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI). A TVI is an expert who teaches students to explore the world by learning how to interpret what they hear, feel, and smell. A TVI works with educational teams to enhance students’ learning by adapting activities and materials.
