This training provides PaPBS Network Facilitators with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively guide schools in the implementation and sustainability of School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS). Participants will receive an orientation to the PaPBS website and resources, an introduction to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 training curricula, and a preview of the annual training plan. The session will also focus on strengthening facilitation skills through the Advanced Facilitator Process, ensuring consistent support for schools across the network. Additionally, facilitators will learn procedures for the annual program evaluation and gain hands-on experience with the new data management system to support data-driven decision-making.
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Confidently navigate and utilize the PaPBS website.
- Understand the structure and content of the Tier 1 and Tier 2 curricula.
- Be familiar with the year’s training plan and expectations.
- Apply strategies from the Advanced Facilitator Process to support schools.
- Implement the annual program evaluation process with fidelity.
- Use the new data management system to access, analyze, and share school and program data.
