Special education administrators will explore evidence-based strategies for identifying early warning signs, implementing effective behavioral interventions, and creating a supportive school culture that minimizes the occurrence of disruptive behaviors. Through interactive discussions and networking, administrators will gain insights and skills to empower their teams and ensure all students can thrive in a safe and nurturing educational environment.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the most important procedural steps to support the substance of their work
  • Identify 3 key balancing factors to build a program around a child
  • Explain that a diagnosis does not determine a child's degree of control over behaviors
