Dear Colleagues,
The Pennsylvania Department of Education’s Bureau of Special Education (BSE), in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN), invites you to join a statewide webinar on
Thursday, August 7th at 1:00 p.m. to learn more about the customized professional development and technical assistance opportunities available to LEAs for the 2025–2026 school year through Pennsylvania’s IDEA-funded State System of Support.
This no-cost support system—coordinated through regional PaTTAN offices and Intermediate Units (IUs)—is designed to assist LEAs in addressing local needs and improving outcomes for students with disabilities across the continuum of services. Supports are grounded in evidence-based practices and delivered through job-embedded coaching, targeted training, and technical assistance tailored to LEA priorities.
During this session, we will:
- Share updates on Pennsylvania’s IDEA-funded State System of Support
- Outline the four types of support available for the 2025–2026 school year
- Review how to request support through the PaTTAN website at supports.pattan.net
- Provide an overview of the systemic support application, including expectations and next steps
- Launch the 2025–2026 systemic application immediately following the webinar
- Answer questions and offer guidance on aligning supports to LEA goals
We hope you’ll join us as we work together to provide responsive, evidence-based supports that help students with disabilities succeed—across all placements and service models—throughout the Commonwealth.
