This professional development opportunity will support educators' learning and implementation of the Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA) sequence of instruction, a evidence-based instruction/intervention practice, for multi-digit whole number operations.
Objectives:
At the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the benefits of and when to use CRA within the instructional hierarchy
- Model multi-digit addition and subtraction algorithms using a CRA sequence
- Model multi-digit multiplication and division algorithms using a CRA sequence
