This session will provide IU TaCs who serve the Eastern Region of Pennsylvania with an opportunity to network with PaTTAN Consultants regarding the current and upcoming work of assigned educational initiative areas. Current updates from the Bureau of Special Education will be shared and discussed as to inform and enhance the work of Eastern Region TaC and PaTTAN Consultant partnerships. Additionally, resources and tools will be provided that are applicable to providing high impact training and consultation while guiding school teams to strenghten potentially challenging conversations.
Objectives
- Identify at least three specific expectations of their assigned initiative areas for the upcoming school year.
- List two action steps that they will employ to increase Stronger Conversations with their LEA teams.
- Explain the difference between Impactful Consulting and Directive Consulting.
Individuals attending this course must arrive on time and stay the duration of the course in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours. Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual´s Superintendent or IU Director prior to the course.
