This training will provide Project MAX internal and external coaches with the skills and knowledge they will need to support their teams as they implement the principles of Project MAX. Coaches will utilize a three-step model including pre-conference, coaching in the classroom, and post-conference to provide a collaborative means for addressing both opportunities and challenges that team members face as they apply their new learning. Participants will have opportunities to share with others and to hear how their colleagues are putting their knowledge into practice.

Objectives

Participants will:

  • Build a network of Project MAX coaches
  • Deepen understanding of the coaching role
  • Discuss and understand coaching tools
  • Work collaboratively to problem-solve potential challenges

Target Audience

Project MAX internal and external coaches.

Individuals attending this course must arrive on time and stay the duration of the course in order to receive Act 48 Professional Education hours. Requests for exceptions are to be brought to the attention of the individual´s Superintendent or IU Director prior to the course.
