The QPVI Reboot Retreat is a training for facilitators from the IU sites participating in the QPVI program. At this 2-day event participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with each other and compare their Key Components (KC) 1 & 2 results with the goal of discerning what has worked, what had been developed, ongoing challenges to sustain, and solutions to problem solve. We will provide an overview/review of KC 1 & 2, as well as introduce and train in KC 3: the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC), with an emphasis on assessment and instruction. In addition, we will be using the Abbreviated QPVI Master List to stream line, analyze and compare data, as well as share resources.
Objectives
- List evidence needed to demonstrate IU site has mastered KC1 & KC2, (occurring consistently and peer reviewed) the assessment and report writing process, in order to move into Key Component 3: Expanded Core Curriculum)
- Demonstrate how to use the QPVI collaboration site to post review
- Identify Abbreviated Master List and Eligibility components: to develop and sustain practices
- Describe implementation process for peer reviewed assessment reports using standardized report formats, within each IU site that is research based. Pairing staff to cross train, review of evaluation documentation --- cultivate a learning community to build upon individual strengths.
