The core features of and uses for Direct Behavior Rating (DBR) will be introduced, with examples focused on application within progress monitoring and screening assessment. Directions for expanding DBR use in integrated multi-tiered systems of support will be discussed. Practice applying DBR to your context, including matching data to intervention decisions, will be provided.

Objectives

Participant will be able to:

  • Describe core features of DBR & how the tool can be used in progress monitoring
  • Demonstrate how DBR would be used to inform decisions within tiered supports
  • Identify and apply DBR knowledge to data-based decision making in intervention selection
