This session of the five part series will address the following questions: What are social skills? Which ones are most important to teach? What instructional strategies are most effective for teaching social skills? How well-designed collaborative learning activities can pay 2-for-1 dividends by promoting both academic achievement and social skill development? The content will cover strategies such as class-wide peer tutoring and teaching students to recruit positive attention.
