Objectives
At the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Identify two effective strategies for communication with AAC users.
- List two methods to support emergent AAC users in fostering communication skills
- Describe the benefits of AAC users taking an active role in educating their communities about AAC, disability, and inclusion
Target Audience
Teachers, administrators, speech-language pathologists, school psychologists, behavior analysts, teachers of the visually impaired, related services professionals, consultants, training and consultation staff, early interventionists, paraprofessionals, family members, anyone interested in supporting those who need augmentative/alternative communication.
