This session will provide a comprehensive introduction to Pennsylvania Early Intervention session notes, emphasizing the effective documentation of key principles of the service delivery model. Participants will explore how the design of these notes can enhance caregiver participation and build their capacity to embed interventions between sessions.

Objectives

Participants will:

  • List the components and requirements of Pennsylvania Early Intervention session notes.
  • Explore how to accurately document the key principles of the early intervention service delivery model.
  • Examine the use of session notes as tools to promote caregiver participation and integration of intervention strategies within family routines between sessions.
  • Identify best practices for documentation that support compliance, clarity, and effectiveness in early intervention services.

Target Audience

This session is designed for early intervention service providers and complete session notes. This session is also appropriate for those who review service delivery documentation.
