This session will introduce the Look, Think, Act strategy for data review for decision making. Using Look, Think, Act, participants will review the progress of the core leadership teams as of the end of June and consider what steps they are ready to accomplish next. New resources will be provided to help teams plan and complete tasks. Participants will also provide opinions on how best EITA can support their ongoing work.

Objectives

Participants will:

• Participants will use Look, Think, Act process to consider their progress to date and update their action plan.
• Using the Implementation Guide, participants will compare the role of Embedded Instruction Coordinator to current local job descriptions to begin to decide who might be best positioned to support staff as they learn to implement Embedded Instruction.
• Following local CLT discussion about local implementation, individuals will provide guidance to EITA about how the local work can best be supported by EITA.

Target Audience

Members of the core leadership teams of the 8 EI programs that are part of Cohort 1 of the Preschool Service Delivery project related to Embedded Instruction in Pennsylvania. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate individuals who have special needs as addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act and who need assistance at this event.
