This webinar will summarize the key elements presented in the on line course: The Family 5Q. It will identify five questions parents consider as they structure their interactions with their child to support engagement and learning during routines and activities throughout their day.

Objectives

Participants will:

  1. Identify ways to use the Family 5Q to acknowledge caregiver values, beliefs, and priorities.
  2. Discuss how SS-OO-PP-RR and the Family 5Q work together to create the teaching and learning cycle.
  3. Identify ways to use the Family 5Q throughout an entire session with a caregiver to build on the teaching and learning cycle.

Target Audience

This training is designed for Early Interventionists who have completed all parts of the Family 5Q on line course.
