This mini series is designed to assist secondary grade level teams with enhancement of core instruction (Tier 1) for all students, including students with disabilities. Teams of secondary grade level teachers will implement specific strategies to enhance the use of high leverage questioning and discussion techniques to facilitate student engagement and strengthen the overall health of core instruction. Teams will implement questioning and discussion strategies with fidelity and have the opportunity to debrief with other secondary teams regarding outcomes on student performance.

Target Audience

Grade Level Teams with General and Special Education Teachers, and ELD Teachers Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate individuals who have special needs as addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act and who need assistance at this event. To register your cross-disciplinary team of up to 7 people, contact Kelly Kapp at kkapp@pattan.net.

Teams who attend both sessions (Oct 19, 2022  and Dec. 15, 2022), will receive a digital badge that acknowledges team implementation efforts. Teams will be asked to prepare and share a brief presentation (30 minutes) on 12/15/22. PaTTAN will provide participating teams with a presentation template.
