In this session, presenters will share considerations and perspectives from the field supporting learning in virtual/hybrid environments beyond the Covid-19 pandemic. Topics will include how educators can continue to build upon the new skills, practices, resources and solutions we learned from the past challenges and leverage these capabilities to ensure a successful transition in supporting students’ learning.
Objectives
Participants will:
- Identify latest policies and procedures relevant to supporting students with disabilities in hybrid and virtual learning environments, set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and Bureau of Special Education.
- Describe knowledge of evidence-based strategies and practices for supporting learning in virtual/hybrid environments in a post-pandemic era.
- Access and describe the educational resources and digital solutions provided by PaTTAN for use in the support of students with disabilities in virtual and hybrid environments.
- Apply virtual skills and resources to transition into a post-pandemic era of education.
Target Audience
General and Special Education Teachers, School Psychologist, Physical Therapist, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Behavior Specialist, Special Education Administrators, Principals, other administrators.
