During this session, intermediate unit transition consultants will enhance their skills for supporting Local Education Agencies (LEAs) as the LEAs create and maintain systems of support in secondary transition. Consultants attending this session will be provided instruction and support on the strategic use of the Instructional Coaching Playbook. An emphasis will be placed on identifying and examining tools to support coaching for sustained change. Consultants should come prepared to engage in conversations, review the Transition Resource Map, and collaborate with their colleagues regarding secondary transition change.
Objectives
- Create individual Instructional Playbooks
- Identify resources to add to Instructional Playbooks and discuss opportunities to use them
- Connect Instructional Coaching to transition change
