Participants will reflect upon the many routines and expectations that children are encouraged to follow throughout the day. They will identify and apply strategies to establish and teach expectations across routines within the home and classroom environments.

Objectives

Participants will:

  • Identify and understand importance of establishing clear expectations and routines.
  • Identify everyday routines and expectations and begin to develop a matrix.
  • Create a strategy/plan to teach, practice and reinforce expectations based on the matrix.

Target Audience

Early Intervention and Early Childhood teachers, therapists, paraprofessionals and home visitors.
