In this session, participants will learn about the comprehensive service delivery model inherent to the training and expertise of school psychologists. Additionally, the connection between school psychologist to student ratios and outcomes will be reviewed.
Potential data sources, needs assessment, and resource mapping strategies to help teams prioritize areas for school psychologist focus on prevention will be addressed.
Objectives:
Participants will:
- Evaluate their current level of implementation of comprehensive school psychological services
- Identify data sources to evaluate systemic strengths and areas of need / focus for prevention efforts school psychologist can support
- Learn about components of a comprehensive service delivery model of school psychology and ratios to support comprehensive service delivery
- Identify and apply resource mapping skills to prioritize areas of focus and to efficiently/effectively allocate resources
