The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), Bureau of Special Education is pleased to offer two distinct Universal Design for Learning (UDL) grant opportunities for the 2021-2022 academic year to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) including school districts, charter schools, and cyber charter schools.

 

1.  The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Classroom Resources Grant 2021-2022:

 

 For LEAs interested in improving and optimizing teaching and learning for students with disabilities receiving instruction in the general education classroom through the purposeful selection and implementation of universally designed resources, tools, and  lesson delivery.

 

2.  The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Optimizing Implementation Grant 2021-2022: 

 

For LEAs interested in optimizing equity and accessibility through the implementation of Universal Design for Learning principles for ALL students. 

 


Target Audience

Local Education Agencies, including school districts, charter schools, and cyber charter schools

Topics Covered: Inclusive Practices
