Assessment Literacy and Designing Local Assessments

Accelerated Learning - Local Assessments: Analyze and Interpret: Local Assessment Reports (LA4)

Webinar

Session Dates

Tuesday November 09, 2021 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM - Webinar

Closed
After an unprecedented year in education, including the suspension of 2020 state assessments and the delay of 2021 state assessments, your local assessments are critically important to understanding the impact of COVID-19 on student learning and for planning in the 2021-22 school year. To leverage local resources and support districts and LEAs, PVAAS reporting has expanded to include an analysis on unfinished teaching and learning based on local assessment data from the 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21 school years. This session will include an overview of these reports and the analytic methods used to generate them. Participants will also learn how these reports can answer critical questions about the possible impacts of COVID-19, where recovery efforts to date have been most effective within their LEA/district, and where accelerated learning efforts are most needed in the school year.
