Everyday routines at home, in early education and care programs, and in the community offer thousands of opportunities to support children’s early learning and brain development. They also provide natural opportunities for children to learn important skills. This session will focus on supporting early learning through everyday routines in early education and care settings, in order to support preschool implementation of the Coaching Across Settings initiative.

Participants will:

  1. identify 5 strategies to support early learning in the context of everyday routines.
  2. identify 3 processes that shape children's brain development and early learning.
  3. define and develop a plan for embedding instruction into everyday routines.
