Participants will be introduced to and provided guidance on delivering inclusive practices training to staff from early childhood programs across Pennsylvania. Participants will utilize training materials including trainer's guide and activity files for the following Collaborating for Inclusive Classroom Practices in Early Childhood course: Working Together. The importance of consistent messages across OCDEL programs will be discussed.

Objectives

Participants will:

  1. Demonstrate how to use training materials from the Working Together course in a virtual format.
  2. Identify ways to build partnerships between Early Intervention service personnel/providers and early childhood education professionals.
  3. Facilitate discussions on federal and state laws that support inclusion for all children.

Target Audience

This training is intended for those who provide training to OCDEL Early Childhood Education and Early Intervention programs and staff.
