Following an overview of the Family Toolkit, participants will explore the toolkit on their own. They will be separated into breakout rooms to further discuss how the toolkit can be communicated to families within their district and how they can use them.
Objectives
At the end of this training participants will be able to:
- Identify statewide goals for CS education in Pennsylvania
- Discuss local CS education initiatives and priorities
- Develop individual goals for engaging in and supporting CS education
Target Audience
District Administrators, Principals, School Counselors, School Librarians, K-12 General Ed, Special Education and English Language Learner teachers, anyone interested in K-12 Computer Science in Pennsylvania
