The PaPBS Coaches Day is specifically designed to support school-wide and program-wide PBIS coaches in their efforts to coordinate and sustain effective PBIS practices. The session will address the uniqueness of implementation during a global pandemic as well as ways to sustain practices in spite of significant change. Additionally, coaches will be able to participate in sessions dedicated to program-wide and school-wide coaches who are newer to the role (1-2 years) and those coaches who have served in their role for three or more years. There will also be sessions dedicated to school-wide coaches at the secondary level.

Objectives

At the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Identify coaching strategies for virtual and hybrid implementation of PBIS
  • List and describe the methods of developing academic, behavioral and social-emotional lesson plans.
  • Describe the importance of coaching PBIS teams in equitable data-based decision making.
