This workshop series is designed for the 15 Local Education Agencies (LEAs) that were awarded Resources for Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Implementation Grants from the PA Department of Education/Bureau of Special Education. The ultimate goal of this series is to equip educators with resources to reduce the inherent barriers to learning so all students may reach their full learning potential independent of how instruction is delivered during the 2020-2021 school year.
Objectives
- Explain each principle of UDL and the implications of each principle for lesson design and delivery
- Identify resources associated with each of the principles of UDL to reduce and/or eliminate barriers to learning
- Discuss the utilization of UDL resources and the impact on learners
Target Audience
Grantees representing the 15 LEAs from across the state along with IU TaC and PaTTAN consultants
